On hearing many stories of bad workmanship, inflated prices and builders not turning up on time I decided to start my own business. As a brick layer and professional builder with many years experience I felt I could offer people a more reliable and competitive service – basically doing a good job at a reasonable price.

I realised that if this is what I did I would always be in demand. This has certainly turned out to be the case and SM construction has grown to include a team of skilled workmen and women in my employment.

However the difference with SM construction is that I also continue to work onsite myself as I personally take quality control to be of the upmost importance. All work is fully guaranteed and personally checked by myself during work and after completion.
